Mrs. Amanda Theus

Mrs. Theus has been serving the students of Harris County for over 16 years of her 23-year career as a Special Education teacher. She taught for five years at Creekside Intermediate School and has spent the last 11 years of her career here at Park Elementary School. Her commitment and passion for all students to have an academic experience that is rigorous and relevant and provide them with real-world connections led her to pursue her educational leadership degree in 2020.

Mrs. Theus believes that by working alongside the Park faculty, students, and parents, forming genuine connections will give every student the opportunity and experience to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. She has confidence that building these relationships and working together as a team will encourage all students to reach outside their comfort zones and gain the skills they need to be successful in and out of the classroom. 

Mrs. Theus is thrilled to pour into the faculty, students, parents, and stakeholders as she carries on the tradition of providing an extraordinary learning experience to our diverse learners at Park Elementary. Park truly is the Place to Be.
